So I'm going to be leaving Xanga. I am looking for something that I can do a little more with as a blog. I just wanted to let all of the Xanga people out there that my new Blog is at http://acousticramblings.wordpress.com/
I know I haven't posted in a long time. I've been using twitter and facebook a lot more. I wanted to post this video for those that haven't seen it. It's pretty cool! We used it today for an illustration.
This song is one of the songs we are doing this morning in worship. Its an awesome song. It's my prayer that when we really understand that God came here for the "rescue of us all" and "redemption from the fall" that we will truly never be the same again. How many christians profess with their mouth that they know Jesus but they are unchanged from their previous life. I know we don't know the hearts of man (or woman) and that God truly knows our hearts, but I wonder if we don't change, if we ARE the same are we truly a child of God? I know so many students (and adults) that make that "alter call moment" at church camps, revivals, etc. But after the fact there is still no change. They still disrespect their parents, they cuss like a sailor, they are into the drug and alcohol scene, and much much more. Where is the change? Where is the passion to "never be the same?" Now don't get me wrong, I understand that we are all sinners, and that we do sin. But there has to be conviction. There has to be repentance in order to "never be the same" I don't know. . just my thoughts. didn't mean to be get on my soap box and preach. I just have been thinking about this song alot lately. It surely makes me want to "Never be the same" again.
At the start he was there, he was there In the end, he’ll be there, he’ll be there
And After all our hands have wrought He forgives
Oh the Glory of it all is: he came here For the rescue of us all that we may live for the glory of it all for the glory of it all
All is lost find him there, find him there After night Dawn is there, Dawn is there
After all falls apart he repairs he repairs
Oh the Glory of it all is: he came here for the rescue of us all that we may live for the glory of it all
oh he is here for redemption from the fall that we may live for the glory of it all oh the glory of it all the glory of it all oh the glory of it all
After night comes the light dawn is here dawn is here it’s a new day it’s a new day everything will change things will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same
Oh, The glory of it all is you came here for the rescue of us all that we may live for the glory of it all
Oh you are here with redemption for us all that we may live for the glory of it all for the glory of it all oh the glory of it all
everything will change things will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same we will never be the same
So I really like this nifty web app called pownce. It basically is a micro blog where you post random thoughts, video clips, pictures, etc. But now someone showed me twitter so I'm kind of torn between the two. I think pownce is more polished but there are more people on twitter. Anyone here use either? If you do add me. my name on both is blitzz5
